Whoa! So kindhearted! I knew I picked the right man.

[A sucker. But as she stands on her tiptoes, her barely five-foot-tall self trying to recapture the auctioneer's attention over the crowd's murmuring:]

Excuse me? May I pleeeease raise my bid?

[And up her bid goes... but a solid five (5) Chroma. She's not necessarily out to snag him away from anyone who's craving that one-on-one time with him? Like, she wouldn't complain if she did, but it's all about having fun! Getting others to up their bids by pretending that he's a hot commodity! In short: Hilda is here to cause problems.]

[Dealing with the auctioneer is Gintoki's problem, sadly, because Hilda slips away into the crowd to let the bidding continue. Oh, she'll pipe up once or twice to raise her bid, still thinking about those ears, but! But. Mischief (mostly) managed.

When the bidding is over, however? When things have, ah, settled down a bit? It doesn't matter who wound up winning; Hilda still finds Gintoki in the crowd, a fresh glass of champagne in her hand as she sidles up to him.]

Sooo... [Hey, hi, allow her to calmly sip her drank.] You owe me ice cream.

<sub>[ Somehow, a psychotic clown and female JoJo ended up bidding on him. It's just a JUMP party over here. He's a little disappointed Hilda didn't end up getting him in the end, but also grateful that Hisoka didn't end up with him.. as someone naturally should be.

There's a sigh of relief, but Gintoki is helping himself to champagne. A lot of it. It's not his go to alcoholic drink, but the occasion calls for it.

When Hilda finds him in the crowd, he chokes on his drink and gives her an irritated look. ]</sub>

Oi, I don't owe you anything..!! You put me in deep trouble up there!

What are you, aaaa? Some sort of pretty trouble maker? Do I need to Rocket Punch you back to where ever you belong?

[Did Hilda put him, like, 400 Chroma in debt? Yes. Does Hilda look all that bothered by it? Nah. She's living for this—loving that awkward choke, bud—and thus she decides to keep right on goin'.]

Punch me? [Her eyes widen in a most dramatic fashion, free hand coming to press against her chest. Quelle horreur! ] You wouldn't hit a delicate maiden after she helped you, would you?

[She thinks not, so as she tilts her head to the side, demurely looking down at her champagne glass:]

[Gintoki, you perv. Anyway, the real answer to that question is ~free ice cream~, but Hilda tilts her head to the side, humming as she pretends to consider the, like, many flavors.]

Probably... peach? Peach sorbet. [Fancy.] Yours?

<sub>[ What Hilda doesn't know is this man is an ice cream connoisseur. Sweets are his weakness, and although he's hypoglycemic and his doctor recommends him only one parfait a week, he never listens to them.

[By which she means he thinks he did, and she's prepared to scheme her way out of her scheme.]

I just couldn't help myself. You looked so cute up there, but so few people were bidding... [A sad lil sigh as she looks down at her drink. Oh, woe is she!] You deserved more attention! I wanted to help, even if it did mean I would lose.

Anyway, there's finally a curve upward on his lips. It seems like Gintoki does know how to smile. He does shake her hand though and dip his head slightly. Oh, she introduced herself with her first name, so he'll do the same. ]}

Gintoki Sakata. Ah.. I'm training to be the next Hokage.

[Yes, a date—which Hilda makes sure to casually mention, like, two or three more times throughout their conversation, just to ensure they nail down a time and a place before she drifts away. She's quite serious about free ice cream, thanks! And also curious about those ears, but one thing at a time, she supposes. One thing at a time. It isn't as though she has very long to wait.

And when the Date finally rolls around, being excited for something fun doesn't mean she shows up early? Oh, she's not late enough to be tacky, but it's definitely a few minutes past their agreed-upon time when she finally strolls over to their agreed-upon meeting place. If he's not there, she's prepared to pout down at her little communicator bracelet and flick through Prismagram post after Prismagram post until he approaches; if he is there, however, he'll be on the receiving end of her brightest smile. Either way, what she (shamelessly) says is:]

_{[ The Cordis moon is out (either still during the triple moon or next Cordis cycle, whichever) so Gin still has those adorable ears that Hilda is so eager to pet. His attire is just his yukata and he's trading his normal, constraining boots for something lighter.. a pair of zori. Being Cordis, he didn't like much clothing and preferred things less and loose. He's from the Edo period and arrived with some traditional clothes, so it's in his favor. He's actually on time— early— and has his nose in some strawberry and chocolate ice cream already. ]}
